Quality and format notes
Chapters become Markdown headings and paragraphs; formatting simplifies to what Markdown expresses. Useful for personal notes, plain-text reading copies and getting your own manuscripts out of e-book packaging.

Do images come through?
No — the conversion targets text. Illustrations stay in the original EPUB.
How is the structure handled?
Chapter titles become headings and body text becomes paragraphs. Endnotes, drop caps and multi-column layouts simplify to plain Markdown.
