Quality and format notes
The tool renders pages at 144 DPI, then encodes them as JPG. JPG is useful for sharing photographic pages; compression may introduce artifacts around small text. Adjust image quality before converting.
JPG cannot preserve transparency; transparent areas are flattened onto white. Choose PNG for crisp diagrams. Password-protected PDFs are unsupported, and the PDF page, memory and output limits still apply.
Frequently asked questions
Which quality should I pick for JPG pages?
Balanced quality suits most documents. If pages are mostly photographs, higher quality is usually worth the larger files; for text-heavy pages, PNG avoids compression artifacts entirely.
Why is my page background white instead of transparent?
JPG has no transparency support. Any transparent areas are flattened onto white. Convert to PNG instead when you need transparent backgrounds.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. After rendering, download just the pages you need individually; the numbered ZIP is optional. The 200-page and 100 MiB input limits still apply to the document itself.
